Election Information

Pursuant to House Bill 305, recently passed by the 86th Texas Legislature relating to the requirement that certain political subdivisions with authority to impose a tax post certain information on an internet website: 

The next Director's Election for FORT BEND COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 37 will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026.  The polling location(s) are TBD.

Candidate Eligibility Requirements

To be qualified to serve as a director of the District, a person must be at least 18 years of age or older as of the date of the upcoming election, a citizen of the United States, a resident of the State of Texas, and either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter in the District. See Section 54.102, Texas Water Code, and 141.001, Texas Election Code. Candidate applications are available upon request - Email: [email protected]
