      | On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the Board of Directors of the Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 37 approved amending the residential and commercial water and sewer rates and increasing the security deposit, which become effective September 25, 2024. 				"District") was created by order of the Texas Water Commission 
				(now known as the
				Texas 
				Commission on Environmental Quality (the "TCEQ")), effective 
				February 24, 1981, in accordance with the Texas Constitution, 
				Article XVI, Chapter 59. The District operates in accordance 
				with Chapters 49 and 54 of the Texas Water Code and is subject 
				to the continuing supervision of the TCEQ.  The District 
				currently contains 293 acres within its boundaries and serves 
				approximately 600 households in the Pin Oak Village and Mills 
				Pointe subdivisions.  The principal functions of the 
				District are to finance, construct, own, operate and maintain 
				drinking water, wastewater and drainage facilities and to 
				provide such facilities and services to the customers of the 
				District.  The District also provides solid waste 
				collection and recycling services as well as maintains the 
				street lights within the neighborhoods.   The District is governed by a 
				Board of Directors consisting of five individuals who are 
				residents or property owners in the District and are elected by 
				voters within the District. The Board of Directors sets the 
				policies of the District.  Regular
				Board meetings are scheduled 
				for 7:00pm on the third (3rd) Wednesday of each month at the Pin 
				Oak Village Clubhouse (1301 Misty Bend Drive Katy, Texas 77494). The Board uses the Clubhouse to post important notices about 
				District operations, meetings and other helpful information
